Choosing a grey set
Seven grey sets in three fabrics. For a light, cool grey, choose Dove Grey in Silky Cotton sateen or Mist, a blue-grey, in stonewashed linen. For a softer mid grey, Warm Grey comes in Cloud Cotton double gauze, plain or with a piped edge. For a dark bed, there is Charcoal Grey in Silky Cotton and Charcoal in linen.
Both linen greys are made to order and ship in 3–6 days; the cotton greys are stocked and are usually dispatched in 1–3 days. For grey with a little colour, the Plain Cotton two-tone set pairs Blue Jeans with Grey.
For single grey pieces and more shades, including Smoke, Silver and Storm Grey, see our grey bedding page.
Questions about grey bedding sets
Which grey set is the warmest shade?
Warm Grey, in Cloud Cotton double gauze. For a cooler grey with a blue lean, choose Mist in linen.
Is there a grey set with piping?
Yes: the Piped Cloud Cotton set in Warm Grey, cotton double gauze finished with a piped edge. It is stocked and is usually dispatched in 1–3 days.
Sateen, gauze or linen: which grey set is most breathable?
Linen and Cloud Cotton gauze move the most air. Silky Cotton sateen moves less and feels smooth and close. If you sleep warm, choose Warm Grey gauze or a linen grey; for a sleek, smooth bed, choose a Silky Cotton grey. More in percale vs sateen.
Do the linen grey sets need ironing?
No. Mist and Charcoal are stonewashed French linen, meant to look relaxed. Wash at 30°C, tumble low or line dry, and take them out while still slightly damp: bone-dry linen creases hardest.
