A super king mattress is 180 × 200 cm. The duvet that belongs on it is 260 × 220 cm — eighty centimetres wider than the bed, which is the whole point, because a super king shared by two people is where a short duvet gets found out at three in the morning. Sheet + cases is a fitted sheet and two pillowcases. Cover + cases swaps the sheet for the duvet cover. Three‑piece is both plus the cover. With insert adds the 10.5 tog duvet insert, so the box arrives as a finished bed.

Which fabric for a six-foot bed

A super king is a lot of cloth, so the fabric decision is felt more here than on a double — in weight, in how it drapes over the sides, and in the wash.

What size is a super king duvet in the UK?

A UK super king duvet and duvet cover measure 260 × 220 cm, which is 102 by 87 inches. That is 30 cm wider than a king duvet, which measures 230 × 220 cm.

What size is a super king mattress?

A UK super king mattress measures 180 × 200 cm, or 6 ft by 6 ft 6 in. It is 30 cm wider and the same length as a king, which measures 150 × 200 cm.

Will a king duvet fit a super king bed?

No. A king duvet is 230 cm wide against a 180 cm mattress, leaving 25 cm of overhang each side, and two people will pull it off one another. A super king duvet gives 40 cm each side, which is what stops that happening.

How deep are your super king fitted sheets?

Our fitted sheets are cut for mattresses up to 35 cm, or 14 inches, deep. From 15 inches a deeper tailored sheet applies, which carries a surcharge.

How many pillowcases come in a super king set?

Two. You can add a second pair in the same fabric and colour, or in a different one, when you build the set.
