A made-to-order colourway or a monogram adds to the front of that, not the end — the piece is made first, then shipped on the same timings.

The United Kingdom, Estonia, and all EU member states. We do not deliver to PO Boxes or to military addresses (BFPO), and we do not currently ship outside Europe.

No. EU orders have VAT included at checkout and there is nothing to pay on delivery. UK orders include all applicable taxes and duties in the price. The number you agree to is the number you pay.

A parcel returned to us because the address was incorrect, because delivery was refused, or because customs charges went unpaid will have the return shipping cost deducted from your refund. It is worth re-reading the address line before you pay — we cannot recover that cost for you afterwards.

Two windows run alongside each other. Your 14-day statutory right (UK and EU) lets you cancel and return for any reason at all. On top of that we run an extended 30-day window for items that are brand new and unworn or unused, with the tags still attached, in their original packaging.

In the UK and Estonia, yes — for any reason. Changed your mind about the colour, the feel or how it looks in your bedroom light? Email us within 30 days of delivery and we send you a prepaid return label. You pay nothing to send it back.

Elsewhere in the EU, not if you have simply changed your mind. In that case the return postage is yours. We would rather say so here than let you discover it after the parcel is packed.

Wherever you are, if the item is faulty, or is not what you ordered, the return is free and we handle it — email us within 48 hours with photographs and we will sort it out.

We do not run exchanges as a separate process, because holding your parcel while a swap is arranged is slower than the honest alternative: return the original for a refund, and place a new order for the size or colour you want. The new order ships on the normal timings rather than waiting for the old one to reach us.

Yes, and it is a short list: final sale and clearance items, digital gift cards, anything customised or monogrammed, and personal hygiene items or opened care products.

Monogrammed pieces are the one that catches people out. They are embroidered for one person and cannot be resold, so we cannot take them back — which is why the personalisation page asks you to confirm the spelling twice.

A page where you put the bed together yourself. Fabric and colour are set separately on the fitted sheet, the duvet cover and each pillowcase; the bed on screen redraws in the sampled colour of the actual cloth rather than an approximation; and the whole thing goes into the cart as one set at the bundle price. There is no code to remember — the saving is already in the number.

Yes — a linen duvet cover over a Cloud Cotton fitted sheet is a normal thing to want, and it carries the same saving as the equivalent single-fabric set. Mixing costs nothing extra.

Four: Single (3 ft), Double (4′6″), King (5 ft) and Super King (6 ft). We do not make Emperor.

Fitted sheets are cut for mattresses up to 35 cm (14 inches) as standard, which covers most beds including a mattress with a topper on it. If yours is deeper than 15 inches we make a tailored sheet instead, at a £15 surcharge. Measure before you order rather than after.

Not as a separate children's line — not yet. What goes on a child's bed is the Single (3 ft), made in all four fabrics: from £49.90 in Plain Cotton, £64.90 in Cloud Cotton. A Single set is cut with one pillowcase rather than two.

In the bedding fabric, yes. In the fill and in our home range — cushion covers, throws and rugs — no, and the difference is worth stating properly.

Every bedding fabric we weave is cotton or French flax. Fitted sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, flat sheets, table linen: nothing blended, nothing cut with polyester.

The inserts are all synthetic, and there are five of them. The Duvet Insert is 100% polyester — micro-denier cluster fill in a microfibre shell — and it is what you are adding when you choose “+ Duvet Insert” on a set or in the builder. The Pillow Insert, Microgel Pillow Insert, Body Pillow Insert and Cushion Insert are microfibre as well. We chose them over down on purpose: they hold their loft, they wash at 30° at home, and there are no quills to work loose. They are not natural fibre, and we are not going to word them as if they were.

Cushion covers, throws and rugs are a separate range, and many are blends. They are home décor rather than bedding, and the fabric changes with the design. Cushion covers come in cotton, linen, hemp, ramie and viscose blends, and polyester — some are 100% polyester. Throws include wool blends and synthetics as well as cotton and wool; rugs include synthetic fibres and wool blends as well as jute and wool. Each piece’s exact composition is on its own product page, and the bedding claim above does not extend to them.

In sleepwear there is one more: Modal Cloud carries about 5% elastane for stretch, stated on the product itself.

Eighty-one on the fabric chart — 42 in Plain Cotton, 17 in Cloud Cotton, 16 in Silky Cotton and 6 in linen. Only eight are made to order — the Blue, Green and Black Pinstripes in Cloud Cotton, and Snow, Terracotta, Mist, Moss Green and Charcoal in linen — at the same price, shipping within 3 to 6 days. Every other colourway is ready to ship.

Colour never changes the price. What you pay is set by bed size and by which pieces are in the set, and that holds for the made-to-order colourways too.

Yes, in every fabric — linen included. Choose Other Colour on the product, leave the colourway you want in the cart note, and it is made in that colour at the same price as a stocked one. The colour chart on the bedding fabrics page is the full range we sample; all but eight of those colourways are ready to ship.

Finishes rather than separate fabrics. They are made in Cloud Cotton and Plain Cotton, and they cost a flat premium over the plain set — £3 for two-tone, £6 for pinstripe and £9 for piped — the same at every bed size, not a percentage, so the surcharge does not grow with the bed.

Mulberry silk

Grade 6A, in 19 momme (£120–260) and 22 momme (£300). The heavier weight drapes more and creases less.

In modal and cotton, women’s sets run UK 6–28. Mulberry silk stops earlier — UK 6–22 in women’s, S–XL in men’s. Men’s modal and cotton run S–XL, and kids run 1–2Y through 11–12Y.

We do. Prints and colours are drawn across the women’s, men’s and kids’ lines deliberately so a set can match without looking like a uniform.

No — cover only. The insert is sold separately as the Cushion Insert, a polyester microfibre fill. We would rather say that here than have a flat cover arrive as a surprise.

Squares in 45 × 45 and 50 × 50 cm, and lumbars in 30 × 50, 30 × 60 and 35 × 55 cm, with a few designs in 30 × 75 cm; not every design comes in every size. Covers are sold only in sets of two or three, and some designs let you mix two sizes within one set — the product page shows whether yours does.

It varies by design, so we would rather not generalise.

Throws

Knitted or woven, in cotton, linen-cotton, wool blends, pure wool and synthetics (polyester or acrylic). Our own Cloud Cotton throw is six layers of cotton muslin.

Rectangles run up to 300 × 400 cm, and there are rounds as well. Masking tape on the floor at the size you are considering settles it faster than a tape measure.

Our Cushion Insert comes in 40 × 40, 45 × 45, 50 × 50 and 60 × 60 cm squares and a 30 × 50 cm lumbar. Covers in other lumbar sizes, such as 30 × 60 or 35 × 55 cm, take any standard insert of that size, and the product page names the right one.

Each size is labelled by use. A lap throw is about 100–120 cm wide, for one person in a chair. A sofa throw is around 130 × 170 cm. "Sofa or bed end" sizes, around 150 × 200 cm, drape over the arm of a sofa or across the foot of a bed. "Bed" sizes, such as 150 × 240 or 200 × 230 cm, are long enough to run across the width of a double bed. More in our guide to throw blanket sizes.

A few loose fibres in the first weeks are normal for brushed and knitted wool, and settle with use. A lint roller deals with them, and a fabric comb lifts any bobbles. See why throws shed.

Polypropylene flatweaves and dense loop piles are the hard-wearing, easy-care choice for hallways, kitchens and family rooms. Jute is strong and textured but coarse underfoot and does not like getting wet, so it suits living rooms and bedrooms better than a kitchen or a bathroom. Runners come in 60 × 160 and 60 × 180 cm. On hard floors, yes. A non-slip underlay stops the rug moving and keeps the corners down. On carpet it is optional. See do you need a rug underlay.

Rugs travel rolled, so a new one can curl at the edges at first. Lay it flat, roll it the other way for a few hours, and the edges usually settle within a few days. See how to flatten a rug.

Two, three or four letters, hand-embroidered in a London atelier, set onto a finished piece rather than machined into it during manufacture. The studio preview stops at four characters; a full name, a word or a date can be requested in the notes. You choose the letters, the thread and the placement on the personalisation page and we come back to you.

Price and turnaround are quoted per request rather than published, because both depend on the piece, the thread and where the monogram sits. We would rather give you a real number than a headline one with conditions attached.

No. It is embroidered for one person and cannot be resold, so it falls outside both the 14-day and the 30-day window. Check the spelling, check the initials order, and check you have the right person’s initials — we cannot undo it afterwards, and we would rather say that now than in a refund email.

Inside out, cold, gentle cycle, in a mesh bag — every time. Dry it one setting gentler than the base fabric would need, and iron on the reverse only, never directly on the stitching. Nothing bleach-based or enzyme-based near the thread, including stain pens.

With pyjamas, nightshirts and robes, yes — free. They arrive in a snoozyn Signature Gift Box at no extra cost, inside recyclable, plastic-free outer packaging. Bedding, eye masks, table linen, cushion covers and everything else ship in our standard recyclable packaging, not a gift box; rugs and large throws ship rolled in protective wrap. The boxes are sold on their own at £2.90–£11.90 depending on size — for boxing bedding, a mask or cushion covers, for splitting an order into several gifts, or for boxing something that did not come from us. They are not for rugs or throws, which don’t fit in a gift box.

There are four sizes, and the depth is the part that matters. Small (22 × 16 × 4 cm) takes an eye mask or a pillowcase; Medium (35 × 26 × 5 cm) takes a pyjama set or a robe; Large (42 × 32 × 6.5 cm) takes a duvet cover on its own. Only the Extra Large (45 × 35 × 15 cm) closes over a complete bedding set — duvet cover, fitted sheet and pillowcases — in any fabric, up to Super King.

Thirty degrees is the ceiling on everything washable — all four bedding fabrics, Modal Cloud, cotton, the inserts and the accessories — on a gentle cycle, tumbled low. Mulberry silk is the single exception: cold water by hand with a pH-neutral silk detergent, or dry clean. Cushion covers, throws and rugs are the other exception: they follow the care on their own product page, summarised in the home answers above.

Four things never, on anything we sell: chlorine bleach, fabric softener, a hot wash, and a sunny line to dry on.

No. We hold no third-party fabric certification — not OEKO-TEX, not GOTS, not organic certification on any of our fabrics. A number of bedding brands imply one without holding one, and we would rather say plainly that we don’t.

What we can evidence: our manufacturing partners are independently audited and we hold the audit reports on file. That covers working conditions at the factories that make our goods. It is not a fabric certification and we do not present it as one.

Most orders arrive in a recyclable, plastic-free box with a care card. No polybags, no shrink-wrap. Rugs and large throws are the exception: they are too big for a box, so they ship rolled in protective wrap. We say recyclable rather than biodegradable, because recyclable is the claim we can stand behind without a lab result.
