Pillowcases

Snoozyn pillowcases, sold in pairs, in Cloud Cotton, Silky Cotton, Plain Cotton and Linen — plus a trimmed Cloud Cotton pair for a defined edge and a Plain Cotton body pillowcase at 45 × 150 cm. Two sizes cover almost every UK bed: Standard at 50 × 75 cm, right for single, double and most king beds, and King Size at 50 × 90 cm, which is the honest choice on a super king, where two standard pillows leave a gap in the middle of a 180 cm headboard.

If you sleep with four pillows, the usual arrangement is two king-size behind two standard. Sizes and the reasoning are set out in the UK bed sizes guide; a pillow insert should be sized to the case rather than the reverse. To pick the pillowcase colour separately from the duvet cover, mix and match the colours in the bedding builder.

Continental pillows? An 80 × 80 German square or a 65 × 65 French one will not go into a UK case — neither will a 50 × 70. All three are made to your measurements, in any of the four fabrics.
