Choosing a terracotta set

There are three ways to buy terracotta as one set. The Plain Cotton set is 200 thread count percale: a crisp, matt cloth that keeps the colour clean and earthy. The linen set is stonewashed French flax, heavier and more textured, and its terracotta reads a little deeper. The two-tone set pairs terracotta with cream on one bed, in the same Plain Cotton percale.

Plain Cotton terracotta is a stocked colour and is usually dispatched in 1–3 days. Linen terracotta is made to order and ships in 3–6 days.

Terracotta sits easily with off white, sand and cream, and with deeper greens such as forest or olive when you want contrast. For a redder shade, see our rust and burnt orange bedding.

Questions about terracotta bedding sets

Is the terracotta the same in cotton and linen?

Close, but not identical. Linen terracotta reads slightly deeper and more textured than the Plain Cotton percale. If every piece needs to match exactly, keep the whole set in one fabric.

Which terracotta set ships fastest?

The Plain Cotton set and the terracotta and cream two-tone set are stocked and are usually dispatched in 1–3 days. The linen set is made to order and ships in 3–6 days.

Can I get terracotta with a different colour sheet?

Yes, two ways. The two-tone set pairs terracotta with cream in Plain Cotton. For any other pairing, our bed builder lets you choose the colour and fabric of each piece separately.

How do I wash a terracotta set?

At 30°C on a gentle cycle, with similar colours. Keep percale out of a hot tumble and iron it warm while it is still slightly damp. Linen needs no ironing; take it out of the dryer while it is a little damp. Full routines are in our care guide.
