Black Cockatoos is our heaviest silk set: 22 momme mulberry silk printed with white sulphur-crested cockatoos and small cream blossoms on a black ground, outlined in crisp white piping at the notched collar, placket, chest pocket and cuffs.
The extra weight gives the cloth more body and a deeper lustre than 19 momme, and like all mulberry silk it feels cool on first contact and absorbs moisture readily. A long-sleeve, button-front top sits over relaxed full-length trousers.
Features & Care
Cockatoos on black 22 momme silk. Also on a cream ground.
- Material: 100% 6A grade long-fibre mulberry silk, 22 momme.
- Top: Button-down front, long sleeves, notched collar, chest pocket, white piping and white buttons.
- Bottoms: Relaxed full-length trousers with an elasticated waistband.
- A low-friction face: Long, unbroken filaments move over skin and sheets rather than catching.
- Care: Hand wash inside out in cold water with a pH-neutral silk wash, or dry clean. Lay flat to dry in the shade; cool iron on the reverse.
