Dedicated Sustainability

Sustainability in textiles is mostly claims. This journal is where we show the working instead.

These pieces trace where each fibre we use actually comes from: French flax grown along the Normandy coast, beech pulp spun into modal, long-staple cotton woven into the double-layer Cloud Cotton gauze, and mulberry silk reeled at 19 momme and above. We explain what thread count, GSM and momme really measure, why children's sleepwear should be pure cotton, and what stonewashing does to linen.

We also say what we cannot claim. We have audited factories and recyclable, plastic-free packaging. We do not hold third-party fabric certification, so you will not find one mentioned here — and where a fibre is synthetic, we say so.
